Will insurance cover my Sessions?

Most often, insurance WILL cover a portion of your sessions if the need for treatment is medically necessary. You may be subject to a deductible or co-pay, just like when you visit your family doctor. Please have your insurance information available when you call and we will help you understand your benefits.

Do you offer marriage or couples counseling?

We do not offer those services at this time.

Do you do family counseling?

We do not offer those services at this time.

Do you see children?

Yes, we see youth age 12 and up who are experiencing adjustments, anxiety or depression. 

We do not work with behavior problems, Adhd, or high risk issues.  

Who are you In-Network with?
Counseling Awareness Center is contracted with many EAP’s (Employee Assistance Plans) and we accept most major medical insurance plans, as well as Medicaid Managed Care. Please be aware that not every counselor accepts every insurance. 
Do you see individuals with Medicare?

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept Medicare. You may be able to engage in services through self-pay. 

What kind of experience do your counselors have?

Our counselors have backgrounds in both mental health. They have many years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Please see the individual counselors descriptions to find out more

What are your hours?

All sessions are booked by appointment, but our counselors normally see people between the hours of 11am-6pm. M-F
